Curbside Recycling Information for Winter Garden, FL Residents
If you’re like me, I sometimes forget exactly what I can & cannot recycle at curbside. And if you’re new to Winter Garden FL, purchased a home for sale or even renting a home, this recycling information will help. (pretty much pertains to all I would think but who knows) What I do love though is we don’t have to separate things anymore. NICE! Pick-up for recycling at curbside is once a week in Winter Garden.
What we are Allowed to Recycle at Curbside:
- Aluminum & tin cans (remove lids)
- Brown paper bags
- Catalogs
- Corrugated cardboard (flattened & cut down to no longer than 3′ by 3′)
- Drink bottles
- Empty aerosol cans
- Glass bottles & jars (remove lids)
- Junk mail (whoohoo 😉 )
- Magazines
- Milk & juice cartons
- Newspapers
- Office paper
- Pasteboard (cereal & shoe boxes, paper towel rolls & tp rolls etc)
- Plastic bottles with neck #1 – #7 (remove lids)
- Plastic containers #1 & #2 (remove lids)
 What’s Not Allowed at Curbside:
- Aluminum foil
- Cell phones
- Drinking glasses
- Empty toxic chemical containers (pool chemicals, paint, pesticides, motor oil etc)
- Glass cookware
- Juice pouches
- Light bulbs
- Packing materials
- Partially full aerosol cans
- Pizza boxes
- Plastic bags (grocery & garbage bags, food storage, cereal etc)
- Polystyrene foam (Styrofoam, egg cartons etc)
- Shredded paper
- Syringes
- Toys
- Window glass
- Wire hangers
